Job Description:
The Sales Operations Manager will partner with our sales team (reps, executives, account managers, & SMEs) and business operations group to make sure that the process of converting prospects and new assignments to live engagements runs smoothly and consistently as well as to ensure that related reporting and documentation is maintained. The Sales Operations Manager will have reasonable knowledge about the sales operations process and exhibit great interpersonal and collaboration skills.

The Sales Operations Manager should be able to deploy these skills:

  • Communication Skills – Candidate should be able to employ strong communications and presentation skills that project confidence and a strong sense of responsibility regardless of audience (which can include executive, peers and both intracompany and external resources)
  • Sales Acumen – Candidate will be familiar with sales processes and customer procurement requirements including required documents (NDA, MSA, SOW, etc.)
  • Business Acumen – Candidate should possess a strong working knowledge of general business management and administration (intersections of Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations) with the ability to work under pressure and within short time constraints in a multifaceted and integrated environment
  • Interpersonal & Management Skills – Candidate will work with multiple stakeholders at varying levels and be the point person to shepherd operational sales requirements from acquisition to close.


  • Responsibilities Include:
  • Supporting our sales team with day-to-day administrative requests, including sales document and process automation, Salesforce.com, opportunity management, reporting, and monitoring workflows.
  • Working with managers in the company to design, support, and maintain long-term scalable, accurate, and correct processes that enable the company to reach its goals.
  • Show the ability to prioritize while operating with multiple requests, some within time-constrained scenarios and expectations of short turn-around times.
  • Monitor sales-related metrics and contribute to the related analysis of that data.

Required Attributes:

  • 3+ years of experience supporting sales operations or a similar role at fast-moving professional services company
  • Prior experience collaborating with both Sales and Business Operations Teams
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to support and administer a Salesforce.com account with 15-20 users and growing
  • Ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders and complete tasks and projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to organize schedules, deadlines, and competing priorities to assist our team
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, pre-law or the equivalent in work experience as a sales operations representative or a sales operations analyst/specialist.
