The Principal Consultant’s primary responsibility includes designing solutions for our clients using leading Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience designing multi-dimensional architecture to meet critical front end business user needs. Candidates must have experience leading technical project execution with a focus on Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), preferably with prior consulting experience.

Responsibilities of the Principal Consultant Include:

• Formulate and develop implementation strategy for identification of business requirements, process design, and sustainable solutions for our clients
• Lead client through the foundational requirements and design discussions to ensure that comprehensive business and data understanding have are documented in order to provide clients with optimal solutions
• Demonstrate technical knowledge for software implementations including activities around field-to-field data mapping, conversion validation, system and security configuration, user acceptance testing, and system integration testing
• Identify gaps in business and technical requirements, testing, potential project risk, and communication issues in client delivery
• Provide technical instruction by actively mentoring internal and client team members through development of optimal solutions
• Assist with determining priorities, scope, timeline, goals, and key milestones for projects
• Maintain customer focus and demonstrate leadership to drive consensus and project related decisions
• Deliver presentations and demonstrations to audiences ranging from executives to business users
• Serve as the application and software subject matter expert throughout the implementation life cycle
• Communicate well written and orally at all levels - managerial, technical, and user

Required Qualifications:

• Functional expertise in FP&A, finance, accounting, consolidations, and/or reporting
• Background in multi-dimensional modeling, analytics, or business intelligence
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in implementing Performance Management Solutions using Anaplan, Pigment, Oracle Hyperion, SAP EPM, IBM TM1/Cognos, Tableau, or similar technologies
• Prior experience leading technical aspects of a project team using structured methodologies for gathering business requirements, business processes, data conversions, and system interfaces
• Ability to work independently, manage small engagements, or scale teams in larger engagements
• Demonstrated analytical, problem‐solving, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Prior experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Information Management and Technology, Engineering, or related field and equivalent experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Sales Performance Management, Supply Chain, Management Reporting, or Enterprise Operational Planning a plus
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) – SQL, ANSI SQL, MySQL, PL/SQL in Oracle, PartiQL in AWS, SAS
• Prior experience in business development and providing sales support including contribution to RFPs and conducting demo sessions for prospective clients
• Prior experience with leading ETL tools (Informatica, SnapLogic, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI))
• Anaplan Certification such as Solution Architect and Master Anaplanner
• Ability to manage a project team of 1-3 people
• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Business Analytics
